This includes electrical, telecommunications, and radio-transmitting equipment that must comply with the Telecommunications Labelling Notice, Radiocommunications Equipment General Rules, EMC Labelling Notice, and other applicable ACMA frameworks.
Our role covers:
- Preparing and maintaining compliance folders in accordance with ACMA’s Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM) labelling and record-keeping requirements.
- Ensuring Declarations of Conformity (DoCs) are correctly prepared, signed, and supported by accredited test evidence.
- Managing ongoing documentation updates, product variants, and regulatory correspondence with ACMA on your behalf.

Authorised Representative – EESS Electrical Safety Compliance
For in-scope electrical equipment supplied in Australia or New Zealand, Comtest can act as your Authorised Representative under the Electrical Equipment Safety System (EESS).
This service allows Australian suppliers or manufacturers to meet their obligations under state and territory electrical safety laws.
Suppliers are required to:
- Register as a Responsible Supplier on the EESS national database.
- Register all Level 2 and Level 3 in-scope electrical equipment, such as power supplies, battery chargers, household appliances, and other regulated devices.
- Ensure all products comply with the applicable safety standards (e.g., AS/NZS 60335, AS/NZS 61558, AS/NZS 62368 and more).
